OrganizeYourGolfEvent.com was founded by John Ballard and Pete Lewis. It sprang from an annual golf buddy trip called Golf ‘til You Drop. For the last 16 years a bunch of friends from all over the country have gotten together for 36 holes a day of competition and night time partying.

The event was organized and tracked via emails and Excel ™ spreadsheets and MSWord ™ documents and eventually a simple Goggle ™ web page.  OYGE is designed to make all that organizing and promoting and tracking easy. Easy for the organizer and easy for participants and fans.

We are incorporated in Massachusetts in 2008. In the end we hope to make some money but the driving force from the start has to been to deliver a free set of tools and information that help groups have the best golf outing experience possible.

Our development partner is Sprintout Internet Services of Rhode Island (www.sprintout.com). Jay Higgins and Jay Higgins Jr. have delivered the web site and underlying business logic.
